The Palos Verdes Peninsula is the most beautiful place in Los Angeles County, but parts of this region have been burdened by a land movement complex that has destroyed homes and left this community without electricity, gas and in some cases water forcing residents to evacuate. A few have chosen to stay despite the challenges of living in the modern world without the most basic comforts.
